Happy Holidays! 🌲 ❤
Here's a recipe for a delicious, healthy dessert: adaptogenic chocolate mousse with avocado.
This mousse is a rich, decadent dessert that is free from dairy, refined sugar, gluten, and it's vegan so everyone can enjoy it.
The special ingredient is avocado, which is rich in healthy fats, but you won't taste the avocado flavor at all!
Adaptogenic chocolate mousse with avocado
This is what you need:
1 ripe frozen avocado
125 ml coconut cream
30 grams raw cacao powder
3-4 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch of Himalayan salt
1 teaspoon I am calm adaptogens
Cut the avocado into pieces and freeze it.
Before you start the preparation, let the frozen avocado pieces defrost for 10 minutes before mixing them in the food processor or blender.
Put an unopened can of coconut milk in the fridge the night before. The cold separates the cream from the water, resulting in a thick, concentrated coconut cream.
Scoop out the coconut cream from the can and the coconut water in a different recipe such as in a smoothie.
Blend the coconut cream with the avocado pieces in the food processor.
Then add the cacao, maple syrup, vanilla extract, Himalayan salt and adaptogens.
Blend until everything is evenly mixed.
Serve the chocolate mousse with fresh fruit and mint leaves (optional).
